We had a divine meal: the Truffade was very generous and delicious. The grilled Saint-Nectaire cheese, served with potatoes, ham, thick slices of raw ham, and a superb salad, was absolutely delicious—we couldn't finish it! However, we did order the "café gourmand," which was also very generous. Thank you for your hospitality; we had a wonderful time.

Hello, we came on February 21st, a little late at lunchtime, but were very warmly welcomed by the owner (luckily there was a table left for two). A very nice restaurant, we ate very well, the dishes were delicious and very generous. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

A place you can go to without hesitation! The traditional dishes are simply excellent, and what can we say about the welcome...it's so refreshing to still find humanity, generosity, and a spirit of sharing. We won't hesitate to give you a glowing recommendation!

We ordered a Saint-Nectaire burger and a truffade. Both dishes were excellent; the Saint-Nectaire cheese oozed from the burger, and the truffade was lightly browned on top—a real treat! 😁 For dessert, the homemade blueberry ice cream was delicious, and the profiteroles were generous. A great place to eat in Besse!

The seven family reunion meals (for people from Auvergne and Charente) were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! The welcome and service were pleasant, and the dishes (calf's head and an Auvergne tasting platter, for example) were truly well-prepared, beautifully presented, and generous. A place to recommend.

This was my second time dining at L'Oustaou in four years. The welcome was as warm as ever, the atmosphere convivial, and the food delicious and generous! A must-visit in Besse!

25/03/2026: We had a pleasant stay at your hotel. If we have the opportunity, we will return.
11/03/2026: As in previous years, we had a wonderful stay at Le Clos. We highly recommend it. A warm welcome, attentive service, and an excellent restaurant. The best part: the swimming pool, so pleasant after a day of skiing or hiking.

02/03/2026: A truly wonderful experience! We came with two young children and were warmly welcomed by a charming, smiling lady. Booster seats, high chairs, and even toys for the children were provided! We had a fantastic meal: truffade and chicken supreme with blue cheese (the sauce was a special mention). For dessert, the homemade rice pudding and blueberry tart were superb. We'll be back! :)
28/02/2026: We wanted to make a reservation, but the restaurant was full. They went out of their way to find us three seats, but it was impossible. So the chef came over and offered to prepare the dish we wanted for takeout so we could still have the feeling of eating in the restaurant. We ordered three truffades, and they were absolutely delicious! The portions were incredibly generous. Don't hesitate to go and eat there! 😁
