A very pleasant restaurant, warm welcome, and traditional cuisine. Everything was perfect!

We had lunch with our daughter. The meal was suitable for both children and adults. The waitress was extremely kind. The food was excellent and plentiful. We highly recommend it.

A nice restaurant where the food is very good; however, despite a very friendly and pleasant waitress, the restaurant's atmosphere could perhaps be improved... (Turning customers away just after 8 pm, finding yourself alone (the last customer) on the terrace at 8:30 pm and getting the impression that they're just waiting for you to leave so they can close the restaurant, while all the neighboring terraces are still full, is a bit disconcerting...)

A treat for the taste buds. Our dinner began with a house aperitif. The one I wanted wasn't available, but I was offered an alternative. 🙂 Then we ordered a set menu with the legendary truffade and rice pudding for dessert. And for me, the chicken oyster. A real delight. Generous portions and delicious food. The service was quick and everyone was very attentive. I recommend it 100%.

Rustic and simple but good food; the meat in the casserole dish is excellent. However: long wait, unfriendly and unprofessional service, and tasteless coffee. A shame.

We are familiar with the former La Souillarde establishment, so it was natural for us to return. We were disappointed by the food, which we found bland and lacking in refinement. Furthermore, the truffades arrived practically cold. We mentioned this, but were told everything was normal... Cold cheese in a truffade is rather off-putting; it's a shame. We still wish you continued success. Perhaps the concept with the casseroles isn't working. Best of luck.

This restaurant perfectly embodies what it aims to represent. It's authentic, warm, and unpretentious. We love the "cocotte" concept—even the bathroom bin is a cocotte! 😅 The dishes are delicious and generous. The service is impeccable. Even in the middle of summer, with temperatures soaring to 35°C in the mountains, you can find something other than truffade. That's great; there's something for everyone. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Besse's main square, with the fountain in the middle. Well done to the whole team!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is my second time eating at this restaurant, and I'm just as delighted as the first time! ❤️ I was here last year when it was still called La Souillarde, and I came back this year to discover Les Cocottes de Papa. It's a wonderful place where you'll find generous and authentic cuisine, with that lovely feeling of eating right at home. We enjoyed Auvergne salads, sweetbreads with morels for me, and Grandpa's casseroles for my son and partner. Everything was truly delicious, beautifully presented, and generous. And a special mention for the homemade chocolate fondant—absolutely divine! 😋 The welcome, the atmosphere, the cleanliness, the service, and the presentation of the dishes were also top-notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great time and, above all, enjoy a truly excellent meal. ❤️ We'll be back with great pleasure!
