Fantastic restaurant! We had a great time, the meal was excellent and plentiful, the suckling pig was amazing, and the waiters and waitresses were top-notch. Thank you all. We highly recommend it.

In many ways, a critic's job is easy. We risk very little, but we enjoy a position superior to those who offer their work and their very being to our judgment. But sometimes one must speak the truth. A truth that has become rare these days: it was very pleasant, and very good. The welcome, for its part, was most agreeable. It's true that it's quite a change from my usual meals at Flunch… Here, I had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious Welsh rarebit, accompanied by a simply sumptuous cocktail. And since credit must be given where credit is due, I must commend the chef's talent. Everything was prepared with care, generosity, and that little touch that transforms a simple meal into a true experience. The dessert, for its part, was just as successful: delicate, flavorful, and prepared with particular finesse. Not everyone can become a great artist, but a great artist can emerge from anywhere. And it would seem that at La Baguernette, some have perfectly understood this maxim. I will return, that's for sure. And I will be delighted to give this establishment the highest praise. So I will soon return to La Baguernette, hungrier than ever, hoping to rediscover this cuisine which, against all odds, has managed to win over even the palate of a critic as demanding as myself.

The service is slow; they get overwhelmed when it's busy, sometimes forgetting to take orders. But the food is good and the atmosphere is pleasant!

The goal of a review is to be constructive, so here's mine, hoping it might be helpful. I came for lunch today. We thoroughly enjoyed it; the portions were generous, and the dishes were beautifully presented. Honestly, it was excellent. A minor complaint regarding hygiene and service. Let me explain. We went to the restroom. We found the toilets not very clean and a lot of hair in the sink. Perhaps we had been there after some really dirty people; in short, a good cleaning would be appreciated. As for the service, I ordered mayonnaise, which arrived after a reminder. And for dessert, I ordered coffee, which never arrived. I understand that the restaurant serves a lot of customers, but some feel shortchanged. When I mentioned this to the waitress at the checkout, she suggested I take it to go. That's kind, but it's too late... Anyway, maybe we came at the wrong time... It was our first time here, but I hope to come back another time to form a different and better opinion.
