La Baita sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Superb hotel located in the center of Chamonix, opposite the pedestrian street. It also has a spa, a ski shop, and ski lockers. Thanks to the team, we had a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Le Prieuré; the hotel feels very homely and intimate, despite being able to accommodate quite a lot of guests. It has a lovely bar and lobby, the staff were all wonderful and unfailingly kind and helpful; the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. There's also a very good onsite ski shop, a fantastic heated ski and boot room with lots of lockers, and the location is very good too - it's an easy walk to the bus stops, train station, and lots of shops and restaurants, and even one of the cable cars, if you don't mind a short uphill hike. Oh, and there's a lovely spa too, with excellent facilities and treatments, though do be sure to reserve some slots when you arrive, as it does get booked up. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

For my partner's birthday, I decided to surprise him with a weekend in Chamonix. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel staff, and all our requests were taken care of. Overall, a good experience. The hotel is very well located. One small negative point: the hotel restaurant.

Very well-located 4‑star hotel close to Chamonix village, with good overall facilities. The room was spacious, featuring a balcony with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the reception staff were helpful in providing information about the town. The only downsides were the limited capacity of the spa and the hotel’s environmental policy, which meant there was no minibar in the room. Overall, it was a good experience, though priced at a 5‑star level, including €30 per night for parking.

We loved our short break. Everyone was incredibly helpful. It was great that the ski hire shop was attached to the hotel. Very short walk into town and a five minute walk to the bus stop which takes you to the pistes. We really enjoyed the breakfasts and relaxing in the hotel bar, all staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

I booked a night at this hotel and my stay went very well. Room: clean and modern, we slept well. Spa area: very nice, although I found the pool a bit cold (another guest shared my opinion). It's a plus for the hotel, but I wouldn't book my stay just for that. Hotel: clean, staff welcome varied depending on the person. Unfortunately, I don't have his name, but we were very warmly welcomed by a young man (Friday, February 6th, around 5 pm). The other staff members were, like the weather, "colder" but nonetheless professional. The parking management is unusual... Excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice.

Beautiful property in the center of Chamonix, modern and incredibly welcoming. Very friendly staff, clean, fragrant rooms with spectacular views. Our stay included two hours of free spa access, but we weren't entirely satisfied. It's small and unfortunately frequented by rude people who didn't leave room for others. So, in my opinion, the maximum number of people allowed per time slot should be revised. Food... well, fellow Italians, let's draw a veil over it. Unfortunately, it's a different cuisine than ours. Absolutely don't order pasta from this restaurant because it's overcooked. The side dishes and main courses are decent, and the desserts are good, but since it's a buffet, you have to hurry to get your things or you risk being left empty-handed. The staff at the entrance were very kind and allowed us to leave our luggage in a dedicated room for free after the day, allowing us to fully enjoy our day in Chamonix. We were pleased with the cleanliness and hospitality, but much less so with the food.

Great Location, nice room, nice bathroom, roomy enough, not enough power points, only 1 chair in the room, no table for eating room service, adequate stroage for luggage and clothes. Locker room for ski gear downstairs, well organized. Nice lounge and dining area. Balcony with view of Mont Blanc.

We spent two nights (a weekend) at this hotel in Chamonix Mont-Blanc. The hotel is very well located, about a 3- to 7-minute walk from restaurants, the town center, and the cable car, which is a real plus. The price is between reasonable and rather high, in line with the location and the services offered. The spa, accessible for two hours a day, is sufficient in terms of duration. However, the organization could be improved: far too many guests at the same time (around 20 people or more) for only 8 chairs to place towels and belongings, which detracts somewhat from comfort and relaxation. The restaurant is excellent. The buffet, both for breakfast and dinner (half-board option), is of very high quality, varied, and well-presented. The reception is good, professional, and courteous. In summary, a very good hotel for a stay in Chamonix, with an excellent restaurant and an ideal location, but a spa that deserves better management of the crowds.

We just stayed there for a long weekend and loved it, great staff and perfect walking distance to downtown and also walking distance or short shuttle ride to mountain would definitely stay again!
