La Baita sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

The entire staff (especially Reception) are absolutely FANTASTIC 🎉. Amazingly helpful, knowledgeable and willing to offer guidance. Beautiful views, great location! 5+++ stars. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Pros - Friendly, efficient English-speaking staff - Views from the rooms and spa were incredible - Excellent range of options at the breakfast buffet and opened at 06.30 so eat then get out for the day early - Able to use facilities of hotel on day of checkout. We were kindly allowed to use the spa and hotel showers on the afternoon after we had checked out at no additional cost. This meant we were able to run all day and freshen up before heading to the airport. A really nice touch as meant you could maximise time in Chamonix rather than wait for flight home. - Toiletries in the room were good quality (not overstocked so environmental friendly) and able to ask for items free if charge from reception - Great location close to town centre and short walk to bus stops/train station Cons - Mattress was very firm so found it quite uncomfortable (personal preference though) - No aircon: stayed in June and the room was uncomfortably hot to sleep and the road outside was a bit too noisy to leave the windows open overnight to cool things down. It was exceptionally hot weather however so likely a very occasional issue. - Limited hooks in the bedroom for coats etc - Drinks in the hotel bar were expensive - EUR12 for a 1664 Krongenbourg beer. Despite a few small cons, this hotel was absolutely fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Well located in Chamonix, comfortable, nice and clean. What stands out in a very positive way is the kind, positive and very accomodating staff. Whether it was about dealing with parking, late arrival due to delayed flight, late check out or just the ongoing positive attitude when passing by the reception, it was an outstanding experience!

All the shops and restaurants are close by, and the bus terminal and the Aiguille du Midi gondola station are within walking distance! The view of Mont Blanc from the bed was amazing,,🤍 and the friendly staff made it perfect!

Excellent hotel, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room with a view of Mont Blanc – impeccable, the bedding was perfect and the staff welcoming. I highly recommend it.

Excellent welcome at the hotel. We arrived a little earlier than expected with our 5-month-old baby, and a very attentive woman at reception offered to prepare our room a little faster. It was a very thoughtful gesture. The view of Mont Blanc is also incredible!

A wonderful experience at this hotel! The rooms were comfortable, clean, and pleasant, with a beautiful view. We have absolutely no complaints about the comfort and quality of our stay. The spa area was also very enjoyable, perfect for relaxing. Breakfast was very good, offering excellent value for money. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly return!

We came as a group for a birthday celebration, and all the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and efficient! The room offered excellent value for money! Thank you!

My two nights in Chamonix were absolutely amazing. If I visit Chamonix again, I will definitely stay here again👍
