La Baita sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

I really enjoyed the gym, which was very well-equipped with modern machines. The hammam, swimming pool, and outdoor sauna are truly amazing. The option to enjoy organic tea or herbal infusions in the wellness area is also a lovely touch. Negative points: the parking is expensive (€30), despite the sign. The mention of 'parking' is misleading. Also, be aware of the tourist tax and pay close attention to the time slots for the wellness area.

The Hotel is in a great location with a short walk to the town centre, a 5min walk to the bus station making it easy to reach various mountains for skiing. The staff were friendly and professional and aimed to make sure you had a pleasant stay. The Rooms were well sized, with comfortable beds, place to dry your jackets etc. with a modern Chalet feel. The balcony was a a great plus! The Boot Room was a comfortable size with each room receiving a locker that could house two adult sets of skis, boots and poles. Breakfast was well varried with many options for you to choose from. Some warm vegetarian options could be a consideration but on the whole was really good. The lounge was a nice place to be by the fire and again the staff were very attentive. There are games for adults and children alike to enjoy. The complaint we had was the 30€ per night charge for parking our car which we found to be excessive. We are already paying guests and to pay an additional 150€ for staying five nights should be reconsidered. It is the only thing that puts us off as we enjoy driving.

Second time at Le Prieuré and a little disappointed. We chose a quieter period for more peace and quiet and booked a spa session. We ended up with a huge number of people and it was extremely noisy. Perhaps they could limit the noise level, monitor the situation, or post some rules of courtesy... The rooms are also very poorly soundproofed. Furthermore, we left a Tommy Hilfiger swimsuit in the bathroom; I contacted reception shortly after check-out... lost, as they apparently haven't been found... What a shame.

We loved staying at Chalet Hotel le Prieure! It was the perfect spot for skiing in the Chamonix valley- and a 4 min walk to catch the bus to most ski resorts and 2 min walk to the main strip in the town where all the restaurants and shops are located. Everything about the hotel was top notch - the breakfast spread was always well stocked and plenty of variety, the on site ski rental shop & heated ski lockers, the amazing spa facilities (sauna overlooking the mountains, steam room, hot tub, pool), the stunning view of the Aiguille du Midi from our room patio and the clean, very comfortable room. Bathroom was clean and the shower had great hot water pressure. All staff was very helpful and friendly and answered all of our questions. We kept talking about how great our stay was at the hotel for the rest of our trip. 10/10 recommend.

Superb hotel located in the center of Chamonix, opposite the pedestrian street. It also has a spa, a ski shop, and ski lockers. Thanks to the team, we had a wonderful stay!

For my partner's birthday, I decided to surprise him with a weekend in Chamonix. We received a very warm welcome from the hotel staff, and all our requests were taken care of. Overall, a good experience. The hotel is very well located. One small negative point: the hotel restaurant.

We had a fantastic stay at Le Prieuré; the hotel feels very homely and intimate, despite being able to accommodate quite a lot of guests. It has a lovely bar and lobby, the staff were all wonderful and unfailingly kind and helpful; the restaurant is very good and the breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. There's also a very good onsite ski shop, a fantastic heated ski and boot room with lots of lockers, and the location is very good too - it's an easy walk to the bus stops, train station, and lots of shops and restaurants, and even one of the cable cars, if you don't mind a short uphill hike. Oh, and there's a lovely spa too, with excellent facilities and treatments, though do be sure to reserve some slots when you arrive, as it does get booked up. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Very well-located 4‑star hotel close to Chamonix village, with good overall facilities. The room was spacious, featuring a balcony with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc. Breakfast offered a nice variety of options, and the reception staff were helpful in providing information about the town. The only downsides were the limited capacity of the spa and the hotel’s environmental policy, which meant there was no minibar in the room. Overall, it was a good experience, though priced at a 5‑star level, including €30 per night for parking.
