La Fruitière sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

We went to the sweet madness of Chamonix for the closing of the 2023-2024 season and we loved it. The dishes were good and refined. Top service and a great atmosphere. No waiting, no pressure. Thanks to the manager and his team for this great evening. We will definitely come back

What a lovely surprise this place perfectly masters the balance between refinement and authenticity! Our meal would not have been the same without our server Paul who, through his energy, his professionalism and his concern to give us a unique moment, means that we will remember this magnificent meal for a very long time! Congratulations to the whole team, a wonderful welcome, a crazy singer, and above all a 5 star mention to Paul the waiter who is always on top.

The welcome is typically francais. It’s a bit of a rabbit Warren of a place and the staff stare rather than show you the way. The food is pretty OK. It’s correct but unimaginative. The pork chop was just a lump of meat with a few spuds - no sauce on offer, just a small jug of jus. We had just finished the mains when they asked us to move out to the corridor for the desserts so we passed and had a drink on the terrace instead. The party shifts to the inside bar/club after evening drinks. It’s weirdly contrived with a musician playing his sax along to the pop songs in a golden wig. Singer in restaurant was excellent but only sang a couple of numbers
