We made a reservation by phone for La Bergerie, but upon arrival, we were sent to the Chalet because the first one was closed. A regrettable lack of communication.

We've been several times. Friendly welcome. Quick service. The truffade is always delicious and plentiful. The presentation of the Italian ice cream was average. A few minor issues this time. Perhaps it would be sufficient to clean the tables (during service) with a damp sponge, without any cleaning product; it's very unpleasant to have the smell (or even the spray) of cleaning product while eating. Regarding the menu, I asked what the cheese in the "Yssoirian box" was:
- "It's an Yssoirian box."
- "Is that the name of the cheese?"
- "Yes."
- "Oh, the cheese is called an Yssoirian box?"
- "Yes."
- "I don't know it, what kind of cheese is it?" "It's a cheese that doesn't have much flavor, that's why we add onion, etc..." Anyway, I ordered a truffade... It's a shame our waitress (from whom we'd already had to ask for a carafe of water several times, the same one who sprayed cleaning product on the table next to ours) was unable to provide simple information, especially in a restaurant that uses cheese in several of its dishes.
So, for Océane's benefit, the cheese is called Yssoirien (and the dish is called Boîte Yssoirienne), it's a raw cow's milk cheese. You're welcome...

I absolutely loved La Bergerie! Ideally located at the bottom of the slopes, it's incredibly convenient after a day of skiing or for a lunch break. The staff is so welcoming and takes the time to personalize each experience, which makes all the difference. We've eaten there many times and have always thoroughly enjoyed our meals.
A huge thank you to the whole team, especially the owner (behind the bar, I believe), as well as Sacha and Brandon for their kindness and professionalism.
👏🏼 A little bonus for the snack bar right next door: quick, convenient for a drink or a bite to eat. And above all, very generous portions! Between the savory options, crepes, and waffles, there's plenty to choose from.
❤️ A huge thank you also to the waitress on March 21st, who took the time to cheer me up. I was so touched by her thoughtfulness; I won't forget that moment.
Thank you all, I highly recommend La Bergerie, and see you very soon on our next visit to Super-Besse! ❄️🥹

Restaurant at the foot of the slopes, we enjoyed the sun on the terrace. The service was quick but not rushed, so we took our time eating. Our waiter was super friendly. I recommend it!

Dinner for two, the perfect way to end our vacation! A warm welcome, the three staff members were incredibly attentive, the food was excellent (the truffade was delicious and the profiterole was truly enormous), and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Well done to the whole team!
