It's always a treat for the taste buds. Very professional staff and a magnificent spot overlooking the Mont Blanc massif. We never get tired of it.

While passing through Plaine-Joux for some hiking, we took the opportunity to eat at La Bergerie. A restaurant with a magnificent view of Mont Blanc! A warm welcome and impeccable service. The meal is very generous, with local cuisine. Reservations recommended. I highly recommend it.

Le Refuge de Plate

07/09/2025: I've been to many refuges. And this one, for its team, its very warm welcome, and the best food I've ever tasted in a refuge, breaks all records. We easily forget the lack of water. Congratulations to you for this optimal management. Thanks to the team, good luck for the end of the season and looking forward to the next one!
18/08/2025: A night spent at the Platé refuge at the end of July, our children's first refuge experience: we all loved it! The location is splendid, the difficult conditions (no water source nearby) explain the "mountain" comfort of this refuge (dry toilets, no shower, trickle of water for rinsing or brushing teeth). The pitches in the dormitories are small but sufficient. And the service is pleasant, the meals good and plentiful.
