I chose this restaurant based on customer reviews, the Petit Futé guide, and photos. I was disappointed because it was far from what I'd heard when I visited.
The menu and presentation were completely different from when we went. While the food itself was good, it didn't live up to the ratings in the customer reviews and the Petit Futé guide. So, a disappointment, but not bad.

Exceptional! Everything is homemade and refined, it's definitely worth the trip. The chef is fantastic 👍👍 and the service is excellent too, thank you to the friendly lady. In short, go for it!

We went to this adorable little restaurant, simply decorated with a "sea" theme.
We received a very warm welcome upon arrival. The menu features only fresh, seasonal dishes (the green bean and pea salad was a must-try). The owner, who works in the kitchen, and his server are incredibly attentive and always check in with the table to make sure everything is alright. I highly recommend it.

The worst restaurant we tried in Saint Jean de Luz, and we went to eight in total. The starter was good and promising. The main course (the tuna) was really bad, with one part that was very dark and very difficult to cut (which I left). I mentioned this to the waitress, who replied that's just how it is. Instead of asking us to keep our cutlery, the waitress took it and threw it next to our plate. A table of six arrived, and they ignored the other customers. The only restaurant in Saint Jean de Luz I wouldn't return to.

A must-visit... homemade cuisine... original dishes made with fresh ingredients... very friendly welcome... if you're looking for something different from the usual Saint-Jean-de-Luz fare, I highly recommend this place.
