The staff were friendly and excellent, and the service was impeccable. The dishes were beautifully prepared, from the meat jus and octopus to the buttery mashed potatoes and the wines. We went back three times... I highly recommend it... I can't wait to return to St Jean de Luz.

Highly recommended and deserved it. Seating in the immaculate dining room but near the open air terrace. Friendly welcome, impeccable professional service from English ( and probably other language ) proficient, well knowledgeable waitstaff. The freshest oysters, superbly presented whole baked merlu, scrumptious apple pie, a complete wine list offering an array of local and national ( which means French/Italian/Spanish ) vintages. And a sweet bill, so you don’t have to call your loan officer in New York.

On holiday in Saint Jean de Luz, we wanted to eat oysters and trusted the Google and ChatGpt reviews. We weren't disappointed. It was quite an eventful evening, with a major thunderstorm hitting as soon as we arrived. Léo, who served us despite the extreme conditions, was very professional, welcoming, and attentive, even though he was soaked from running around. The meal was delicious, and we were able to enjoy the beautiful summer storm, staying dry and enjoying a very good meal. Thank you to Léo for his impeccable service despite the conditions.

21/08/2026: A very pretty shop where you can find quality Basque linens, but also delicious macarons and homemade artisanal ice cream! Everything is as beautiful as it is delicious, with a lovely welcome. An address I highly recommend.
