Passing through Narbonne, I stumbled upon a small restaurant with skate wing on the menu, and I'm so glad I stopped in – it was absolutely delicious! A truly wonderful place, a warm welcome, and I hope to return someday to savor their authentic and flavorful cuisine!

I had a wonderful evening. The welcome, the service, the atmosphere were all delightful, the food fabulous, and the chef and waitress were incredibly kind and attentive. Honestly, a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend it; go without hesitation!

Food is Art at La Bonne Excuse! Thank you for a wonderful evening of fresh and fragrant flavours, excellent wine and attentive service in a beautiful atmospheric restaurant. One of the best meals I have ever had in my life! The melon and goat’s cheese gazpacho was incredible and the mackerel main lived up to its reputation . The matcha tiramisus dessert was one of the best desserts I’ve ever had! Great wine to accompany as well. Despite being thoroughly satisfied I could have eaten it all over again! Do not miss an opportunity to eat here if you are in Narbonne! The €35 meal deal is an absolute bargain . A jewel of a restaurant. Chef even took the time to pose for a selfie with us. A place I stumbled upon by chance. I absolutely loved the decor and atmosphere. The waitress was a sweetheart—so attentive, welcoming, and always smiling. The dishes (set menu at €35) were delicious. The chef's visit was a real treat! I'll definitely be back to try the seasonal menu!

Great experience! The waitress was very friendly, the service impeccable, and the food delicious. Good value for money, with a nice change of pace from the usual fare. It's refreshing to have real cuisine and not just tapas on the menu 😄. Air-conditioned dining room, no complaints 👌
