La Bonne Nouvelle sur Rennes

One of my favorite bars in Rennes! The cocktails are really good, and great value for money! The coffee is also fantastic, among the best on Place St-Anne. The place is great, with plenty of seating on the terrace and inside too. There's even an upstairs! The staff is lovely, especially the charming brunette who works evenings, always smiling and pleasant. See you soon, BN!!

A quick getaway to La Bonne Nouvelle in Rennes. Not knowing the area, I had a little sausage and snack with a friend and received a perfect welcome from Tommy and Flo. I'll be back 😊

Very friendly place in the heart of the historic center where I like to have a coffee on the terrace!!!

We had a great time at this establishment. The terrace was very pleasant, almost as pleasant as the service. Florian and Alexandra in particular were very humorous and attentive. Thank you!

This restaurant is aptly named! A few minutes before going there, a friend learned that he was going to be an uncle, and we continued the day there... excellent idea. We discovered a delightful brasserie, with good, well-cooked dishes and even an original drink that you don't come across every day. The service was a little slow, but given the crowds that day, it's not surprising. We had a great time and the welcome from the staff, both waiters and bartenders, was really warm.

We were passing through Rennes. After a stay in Vendée, we had to return to our beautiful Normandy. We ended up at this restaurant. We received very good service. The young woman is a professional waitress. We had the daily special with dessert. And a tartine... bravo for the presentation, the flavors, and the originality of the dishes. Two visits spaced 15 days apart and always the same friendly welcome, simple menu, reasonable prices, to be continued!

We had lunch there on June 13, 2025. The terrace was packed, but the very friendly server served us quickly. We had the main course and dessert menu (pork shepherd's pie with banoffee). The dishes were very standard, you might say, but these were... very creative! Truly delicious! Bravo, chef! Danielle & François
