La Boucherie sur Alencon

04/04/2024: We were with family to celebrate a birthday and we were very disappointed with the service. The upstairs room has a stained carpet (but not the small stain, a huge stain clearly visible as soon as you enter). When we arrived, the waitress told us you can put your coats and bag on the table at the back. When taking orders, the wine list menus were worn out and we had to ask for carafes of water several times. This is not the service you expect from a bib gourmand. Concerning the kitchen, some dishes arrived cold. Too bad because it is of good quality. Finally, it would be interesting to redo your sanitary facilities - the "in its own juice" has charm, but not always. A small disappointment, it's a shame that the service and the setting are not up to the standard of the cuisine

09/03/2024: A warm welcome and service, a simple but effective menu, a (very) sober setting. In short, a good address in Alençon
