Overall, compared to other restaurants in Cholet specializing in meat, this is one of the best, with a truly excellent selection of cuts, which justifies its 5 stars. The meats are generally good and generously portioned. However, on our last visit, the dry-aged cut was a bit tough, despite being Norman breed beef served rare. We understand that this was an isolated incident and we will definitely return, but more consistent quality control would be appreciated. The service, especially from the slim young waiter who is always available, is very warm and friendly.

11/02/2026: We arrived at the open door of the restaurant at 11:55 am and were chased away because it opens at noon, a strange welcome for a shopkeeper…a shame because the cuisine is refined and the dishes are presented with care.
