La Bouitte sur Saint-Martin-De-Belleville

La Bouitte has been a huge favorite of ours during our getaways over the past few years. La Bouitte embodies the art of living, of hospitality, of being fully present in the moment. Everything is perfect: the house is so warm and tastefully designed, the staff is incredibly kind, the Meilleur family is so attentive and approachable, and the restaurant was, for us, the best we've ever experienced. The raw ingredients are so expertly prepared that they give you goosebumps, a return to the essentials on the plate—what a wonderful evening! We rarely return to hotels we've already stayed in because we love discovering new places, but we will certainly be returning to La Bouitte again and again in the coming months because we dream about it every day! A beautiful natural setting, perfectly in keeping with the mountain spirit and the owners' family history. We had a weekend like we rarely experience. The staff were incredibly attentive, treating us like any other guest, which was especially appreciated as we were using a gift voucher. Despite a few negative reviews, the 5-star rating justifies the value for money, reflecting the investment made by the establishment and its staff. The spa was relaxing and the massages were wonderful. Note: Be aware that the initial phone contact (during the booking process) made us hesitate to come, as they strongly encouraged us to book a table at the hotel restaurant for dinner. Perhaps a different approach would have been better received.

A charming boutique hotel where the owners (a large family) and staff do everything to make you love the art of Savoyard hospitality!

La Bouitte is a 5-star hotel that truly deserves its rating. The staff is very professional, friendly, and attentive, regardless of their role. The service is of the highest quality, the room was spacious and beautifully decorated in a mountain chalet style (we stayed in the Marie suite). Their Michelin-starred restaurant is a culinary experience not to be missed, even if the prices are rather high compared to other starred restaurants we've dined at. One minor drawback: the ski boot rack in the garage is open to everyone, which led to a mix-up when a guest checked out and took our boots instead of their own. It took the hotel a few days to locate them, but the staff handled the situation perfectly and sent them back to us. Luckily, this happened right before our departure; otherwise, it would have been complicated and frustrating to go skiing! We highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable and high-quality stay.
