La Bouteille à la Mer sur Brest

A wonderful discovery with colleagues. A very warm welcome, delicious cuisine, fresh ingredients, and very subtle preparation. A true explosion of flavors! Go there, it's absolutely delicious! Mushroom cappacio with Parmesan: excellent! Melting endives, kaffir lime, and smoked sausage: a real treat because all the flavors were perfectly balanced, even though I don't usually like endives. The cauliflower crème brûlée dessert was also excellent: a real delight!!! Thank you to the chef and his assistant!

An authentic setting, fresh produce for a daily menu, cuisine with a quality/price ratio that rivals the region's Michelin-starred restaurants, natural wines, and a warm hostess who appreciates a job well done! I recommend it 100%.

While in Brest, I tried this place, which was a very pleasant surprise: everything is homemade, and the daily special offers a choice of fish, meat, or vegetarian options. The desserts are just as good. I'll be back with pleasure!

2025: What more can I say… A place we'd like to visit in more regions. 2023: The address has changed, but the heart of the conviviality is still there. These are little treasures that we don't want to share. It's extraordinary. 08/20/24: It's still extraordinary, a simple but oh-so-good cuisine and restaurant.
