I usually enjoy going to Brasserie du Général, but I hadn't been for a long time and was a little disappointed: the food was plentiful, but the starter was bland, the perch fillets were a bit dry and tasteless, and the peach tart was completely tasteless. The staff weren't very friendly, even though there were only a few tables to manage.

Always excellent! The service is very good, though it could use a little more warmth. The staff aren't very smiley or welcoming. That doesn't stop us from coming back quite regularly, though.

We had a wonderful time at this brasserie.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
I highly recommend the coquillettes risotto served in a wheel of local cheese; it's simply a culinary orgasm.
If you're ever in the area, you can stop by without hesitation.

We had a wonderful time on the terrace. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was good quality, staying true to classic brasserie dishes without resorting to easy solutions.
And the owner was always smiling and had a kind word for everyone.

The summer menu is less original and appealing than the winter one. Perch fillets are featured, but that's the case everywhere. Desserts are disappointing this season (strawberry and watermelon salad with bland yogurt ice cream, uninspired pistachio French toast) and there are no more desserts for two (which were part of this restaurant's reputation).
