Very good restaurant. We went there knowing exactly what we wanted: raclette. We ordered a raclette for three and were a little disappointed by the amount of cheese… I'll let you judge for yourselves from the photo. The same goes for the side dishes; there weren't many potatoes or cured meats, so don't hesitate to ask for more (we didn't know that). However, the raclette grill was nice, quite traditional, and the cheese was a real treat… 🤤🤤🤤 It's so good you can eat it even if you're not hungry! We wanted more and scraped every last bit. All accompanied by a good bottle of red wine from Pic Saint Lou. I recommend it if you're in the area; the pizzas looked very good too.

A very good restaurant right at the foot of the slopes. The dishes are homemade using local produce. Excellent service with a very friendly owner.

A perfect 5 out of 5 for this restaurant on the slopes of the St. Lary ski area! Charming welcome, typical and comfortable dining room, warmed by a pellet stove, and homemade cuisine. That day we enjoyed a generous burger, the daily special (which was a well-prepared Flemish carronade), and a very good children's menu. Simple, efficient, quick, and friendly service. Highly recommended.

18/04/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Galette d’Or! We were served quickly. The dining room seats about 20, and up to 40 in the summer with the outdoor seating, so it's best to book in advance during peak season. We received a very warm welcome from an extremely pleasant, friendly, and humorous gentleman, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also greatly appreciated the involvement of the owner and his wife, who particularly enjoys making homemade crêpe batter, which adds a real touch of authenticity. The savory galettes are thin, with a truly delicious homemade batter, and generously filled with high-quality ingredients sourced from local producers. The batter, for both the savory and sweet crêpes, is homemade, and you can taste the difference! The sweet crêpes are just as good: the homemade chocolate is excellent, and the salted caramel is simply divine. Special mention goes to the homemade vanilla ice cream, which is also excellent, and you can taste it from the first bite! The prices are very reasonable considering the quality offered. In addition to the delicious food, we learned a lot about the origins of the products, which made the experience even more enriching. A place I highly recommend!
