Fantastic experience at this restaurant! The servers are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling. You immediately feel at ease. And on top of that, the food is delicious: the dishes are beautifully presented. I highly recommend it!

Passing through the area, the staff were very welcoming and smiling, the burger is really amazing.

We received a warm welcome after a walk on the dune. The portions were generous and the service excellent. Lamb shank, steak frites, pizza—everything was delicious. We'll be back!

The setting is pleasant in the town center of Pyla-sur-Mer, the service is very professional and the food is delicious. The staff is always friendly and the prices are reasonable. In short! It was a great time spent in this establishment. Bravo!

What a wonderful family atmosphere! We were delighted with our meal this Thursday lunchtime. The food was excellent and the flavors perfect. We were able to congratulate the chef, and the waitresses were so kind. We felt the generosity of the whole experience, and what a wonderful atmosphere! And again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LÉA! Every time I come to Le Pyla sur Mer arriving from London or Paris, I really love to have lunch at Le refuge as I am never disappointed. The cooking is home made and fresh, being a very simple french traditional cuisine from the South West of France. Their roast chicken is excellent and there is always a delicious plat du jour to choose from..ie. monkfish, seabass, gambas, salmon, veal blanquette, it changes all the time. The set up is unassuming, authentic and simple, acting as a meeting ground for the true locals, adding to the charm .The family running Le Refuge is very friendly with Marion in the restaurant and Chloe in the kitchen with their parents making sure everything is running smoothly. Great value for the quality. Youve gained my loyalty and I will come back again and again.
