A warm atmosphere, the waitress was super helpful (we arrived almost right when they opened, so it's not ideal during the rush). The food was tasty and simple. However, parking was a complete nightmare...

Our flight from Nantes to Dublin on 8th September was cancelled. My son and I arrived late into Nantes city centre, tired and frustrated and found La Cabane by chance. What good fortune. The waiter was great fun, food was excellent and we were almost glad that the flight was cancelled. A place to return to.

The meal was delicious, with the discovery of beef and the very interesting explanation from the chef; a big thank you for his attentiveness to the customer and for his incredible cuisine.

La Reine Margot

21/08/2026: Fresh produce, homemade cuisine, very pleasant service. In short, enjoy without moderation!
19/08/2026: A pleasant evening outdoors with a very warm welcome and excellent service. The meal was good, although the price didn't seem justified in my opinion, or perhaps it needed a bit more attention to detail (the gravlax starter was more visually appealing than the crispy reblochon and apricot dish, for example – the folding and presentation were poor – a subtle hint of the interior in the glaze would have been nice). However, the lemon curd dessert was a real highlight. It was good, but I was a little disappointed by the presentation. The dining room itself was beautiful, unique, and well-maintained. Thank you for your alert.
