Great meal in a beautiful setting. At the water's edge with a view of the abbey. The meal was very good served quite quickly. The respectful staff were frankly impeccable.

A lunch by the water. A very good meal. Choice, quality, good prices. Friendly and efficient staff. What more could you ask for for a stopover in Brantome between sightseeing and kayaking?

A lovely setting, dining outside by the River Dronne. Food was ok, although some choices weren’t available from a fairly limited menu. The wine was good but over-priced. The service was adequate although the staff seemed to be very busy, even though the restaurant wasn’t particularly and avoided eye contact.

Le 15 août 2024 était mal parti pour trouver un restaurant pour 4 adultes dans un Brantôme en fête (joutes sur l’eau) en soirée. Nous avons été parfaitement reçu par deux employés dont une adorable jeune fille. On nous a placé en bordure de rivière. Je ne comprends pas l’avalanche de mauvaises appréciations à propos de saucisses de canard. La mienne, prédécoupées était parfaite . Je suis persuadé que cet établissement a été blacklisté par d’autres restaurants . Ne croyez pas un mot des critiques matraquées.

The only restaurant in Brantome that welcomed us without reservation on the Friday evening before the game. The meal was very good and the waiter was very pleasant and efficient despite the crowded terrace. Delighted with our meal.

Hello everyone. We have read the reviews that have been left in the past. We didn't understand many of them...we welcomed them warmly. 2 adults and three children at noon today (August 2). Certainly there was no children's menu but: we come up with a dish of the day that the children can share. This was our case. Children 2 and 5 years old. The dish of the day was good and very affordable at €15. My eldest chose truffle ravioli, very good! (She simply found that in terms of quantity there was not enough: to her taste), nothing serious, she supplemented it with a dessert. My husband ate the duck sausage (or breast: I don't know anymore) he enjoyed it and would have happily eaten a second one. In short, we were satisfied in every way. What rather shocked us were the ill-mannered people who sat on the terrace of the restaurant and then got up and ate at the neighbor's! THANKS
