A lovely meal at this family-run restaurant where everything is delicious from appetizers to desserts. The ham is amazing, and the main courses are just as good. I highly recommend it! 😊

Super welcoming. Foie gras, no cod but replaced with excellent red mullet in saffron sauce. Eels with parsley and garlic, and to finish, flambéed pineapple with rum and raisin ice cream. The meal was very, very good. I highly recommend this restaurant and a big thank you to the two people who served us. Friendly and unpretentious atmosphere.

A superb experience at this restaurant where the food is excellent. The waiter was efficient and very friendly, the portions were generous and delicious, and the ingredients were high quality. Excellent value for money. The shaded terrace is very pleasant. We had a wonderful time and will definitely return when we are next in Pauillac.

We went to eat at La Cambuse for lunch today and had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent, with a great sense of humor, and the homemade food was top-notch. We have absolutely no complaints and will definitely be back.

The restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. Yet as soon as you step inside, it's a completely different story... It had been a long time since I'd eaten eel. Thank you for waking up my taste buds.

We stumbled upon this little gem quite by chance during our tour along the Gironde – and what a lucky find! The set menu for just €22 is truly exceptional. With a wide selection of appetizers, main courses, and desserts, we started with poached eggs in a fantastic sauce and a salad with salmon and anchovies. For our main course, we enjoyed a melt-in-your-mouth Paleron de Bœuf with tagliatelle and a perfectly medium-rare Bavette steak with wonderful, homemade fries – truly one of the best meat dishes I've had in France in the past two weeks! For dessert, we had Tarte Tatin and a cheese platter. We were even given a complimentary chocolate fondant after it was mistakenly served to us instead of cheese – a deliciously unexpected error. 😄 The service was incredibly friendly, warm, and fun – with a fantastic sense of humor. Five stars for the kitchen and the lovingly prepared dishes! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We would love to come back again!

Excellent restaurant, the ingredients are fresh, the owners are charming and above all professional, and the setting is magnificent…we will definitely return and invite you to go and eat there…it feels like being in a vaulted cellar
