We're from the area and we eat at a lot of mountain restaurants. I can tell you that La Campanoise is a very, very good restaurant with affordable prices, local products, and especially real homemade fries. Remember to book because it fills up very quickly. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

Our favorite place to stop after a hike or for a chilled Sunday. Local cuisine is always very good and the pancakes are excellent, the waffles too, not to mention the royal garbure.

15/02/2026: Passing through Payolle, after a short sledding session we decided to stop for a coffee. But given the warm welcome from the whole team, we ended up staying for dinner. And it was delicious! 🤪 Great atmosphere, an excellent memory. We'll be back. Thank you to the whole team. Greetings from the Arcachon Basin.
