We had a lovely time. The food was excellent and we received a very warm welcome. We had lunch on the sunny terrace. Perfect for February! We'll definitely be back if we're ever in the area again.

We're from the area and we eat at a lot of mountain restaurants. I can tell you that La Campanoise is a very, very good restaurant with affordable prices, local products, and especially real homemade fries. Remember to book ahead because it fills up very quickly. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

Our favorite place to stop after a hike or for a chilled Sunday. Local cuisine is always very good and the pancakes are excellent, the waffles too, not to mention the royal garbure.

15/02/2026: Passing through Payolle, after a short sledding session we decided to stop for a coffee. But given the warm welcome from the whole team, we ended up staying for dinner. And it was delicious! 🤪 Great atmosphere, an excellent memory. We'll be back. Thank you to the whole team. Greetings from the Arcachon Basin.

The ambiance is magical, with the crackling wood fire creating a cozy, comforting, and charming setting. A truly timeless experience! And what can I say about the food? Absolutely divine! Flavorful, generous dishes, prepared with passion and skill. Every bite is a delight. Children and adults alike are thrilled, delighted from beginning to end—pure bliss for the whole family. The rooms are also very nice; they're comfortable, and the bedding is of very high quality. A precious, rare, and unforgettable place.
