Chicken pâté, absolutely divine. Grilled hanger steak, absolutely divine. Homemade chocolate mousse, divine. What more can I say? Very good for €25 per person, I'll be back.

I came for lunch on Saturday with a friend who lives near Paris, like me. Snails, duck breast, and an apple and walnut cake with cinnamon. The menu was generous and excellent.

A small, cozy family restaurant in the heart of Montargis, with a gentle, Gâtinais countryside atmosphere. The tone is set from the moment you enter: a generous menu, just the right amount of choice, and dishes reminiscent of grandma's. Here, the cuisine exudes sincerity and expertise: it simmers, it reduces, it butters... and in the end, it's Mozart on the plate! Simple, fresh ingredients, prepared with care and passion, for a result full of flavor and authenticity. And the icing on the cake: the bill is as sweet as the dishes. Go in with your eyes closed and prepare yourself for a real feast, the likes of which are unheard of!

We came for dinner last night, Saturday, September 20th. The food was very good. I recommend the legendary chicken liver pâté, the duck parmentier, the candied pear with salted butter caramel. A small downside was the service, perhaps a little too quickly served, but overall I recommend this restaurant.
