The cuisine is precise, with perfect flavor combinations. Chef Kevin Stroh is getting closer to Michelin stars. Bravo for the langoustine and the blue lobster! But... yes, but... the service is a bit off. Examples from today: we had to intervene to have the bottle of Chateldon recorked after a glass had been poured (it was sadly left alone, losing its bubbles); the crumbs on the beautiful white tablecloth weren't cleaned until before dessert—hardly aiming for stars in that case; the mini tarts served at the end of the meal, excellent by the way, were difficult to eat without a fork: we spilled them on the tablecloth twice. The atmosphere: Seated at a table in the corridor leading from the restaurant's entrance hall, which seats about fifteen, to the kitchen, the constant coming and going of the staff made it impossible to have a peaceful lunch. The whole place is rather noisy!

A cozy and relaxed atmosphere. Delicious food too. Excellent wine recommendations. Everything is perfect. One of the best restaurants in Strasbourg.

Every dish was truly delicious. As a tourist with no jacket and only a collared shirt, I was worried about the dress code and prepared to be turned away, but they welcomed me warmly without showing any concern. Every dish was served with various sauces, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors in one plate. The Riesling white wine from Alsace was so fragrant that it felt a shame to drink it, and although I couldn't afford a Grand Cru, even the cheapest one was delicious. I wasn't discriminated against because I'm Japanese, and even though I was using Google Translate, all the waiters tried to communicate how the dishes were prepared. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful time. In Europe, delays in public transport are common, so be sure to allow plenty of time and don't be late for your reservation.
