We simply have to go back! An excellent lunch and a delightful experience. The staff were on top of their game; in short, pros who are well worth the detour.

I had a wonderful experience at Cassolette in Vence. Since I only had one card with me and was worried the payment system might fail, I asked if I could pay first. Both the waitress and the manager were very understanding and kindly agreed after listening to my concern. Their warm and thoughtful attitude made me feel completely at ease and allowed me to enjoy my meal without any stress. The gazpacho wasn’t as surprising as what I’ve had in Spain, but the main fish dish was excellent—the crispy skin and the vegetables cooked with French olive oil and tomatoes paired beautifully. The dessert was a bit too big for me, but overall the meal was satisfying. When I left, the staff even waved goodbye. Their hospitality made this visit truly memorable.
