After receiving a gift, we decided to visit L’Ambroisy to see if the restaurant's reputation was well-deserved.
I must say that this small gourmet restaurant is an experience not to be missed if you're looking for a quality dining experience in the Alpes-Maritimes region.
We were fortunate enough to enjoy the seven-course tasting menu. It featured only seasonal vegetables, elaborate sauces made with local ingredients, and perfectly cooked meats and fish. The sweetbreads were an unparalleled culinary delight, as were the asparagus and the homemade sauces.
The experience lasted approximately three hours, which flew by. The service was virtually impeccable thanks to a relaxed and humorous chef.
The restaurant's ambiance is carefully curated, the tables are perfectly spaced, and the music is quite discreet.
The only minor point for improvement would be the amount of cheese served at the end of the meal. Priced at an additional €12, it was brought in a rather small quantity. This is all the more surprising given the very generous dessert portion.
We therefore had an exceptional time at this establishment, which I highly recommend.

This family-owned, family-run restaurant was the highlight of our culinary experience during our 10-day trip along the French and Italian Rivieras. We enjoyed a five-course meal, and every dish was executed to perfection. The variety of sauces in the appetizers stood out, and the pigeon dish was especially memorable—beautifully prepared and full of flavor.
We also loved the ambiance, from the thoughtful design to the music, and the service was warm and attentive throughout. Bravo! We would happily return!

A superb gourmet experience featuring local, seasonal produce! A very pleasant atmosphere in this stone building, where the two rooms are beautifully decorated and peaceful! The chef serves alone, presenting the dishes with delicacy and passion.
The only slight drawback, I would say, having frequented fine restaurants like this one, is the bread. A good country loaf or pre-made rolls would be better for customers. And, regarding the price, perhaps the €10/person extra for the pigeon is a bit steep, especially since the portion isn't particularly generous...
Otherwise, go without hesitation; a must-try culinary experience in Vence!

An incredible meal at L’Ambroisy! The flavors and presentations were perfectly executed; each dish was a true delight. Everything was impeccable from start to finish. The setting is also magnificent, full of charm, in a former chapel which makes the experience even more unique. A truly wonderful place that I recommend without hesitation.
