La Causerie des Mondes, France sur Dijon

La Causerie des Mondes is a wonderful café/restaurant offering excellent coffee as well as tea and chocolate. They have a great bakery with a delicious assortment of sweet treats, and their menu had a small but interesting selection of meals, as well. Its location is just a few minutes’ walk from the palace but it's away from the jammed streets that plague most of the central area during the tourist season. Consequently, its atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, both in their outside seating area as well as a charming interior space.

The meal was excellent, and the workers were all very brave in 39°C heat. I don't know what it's like in winter, but it's definitely very, very good.

Warm atmosphere, incredibly good hot chocolates and super good cakes too (the chestnut cake is a delight!), my favorite place for afternoon tea in Dijon!

A quiet restaurant, shaded when it's hot, with impeccable service, and, increasingly rare, homemade food at unbeatable value. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who sees the reviews.

We visited three times over a long weekend. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the food was great. Everyone was friendly and relaxed. It was always packed, though, so it's best to reserve in advance.

A very nice and relaxed café with a huge selection of teas and coffees. A well-stocked menu and very friendly, attentive service make a visit a truly pleasant experience. The interior design and the cake display, which clearly shows what pastries are available, are a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice café, good service, and good food. We felt very comfortable there.
