We received a meal at this restaurant as a wedding gift. It's wonderful to see that a restaurant can so easily accommodate a specific dietary requirement. We opted for the eight-course tasting menu. Unfortunately, most of the dishes were served with a Vin Jaune sauce that was very overpowering and didn't enhance the flavors of the other dishes, which, for us, spoiled the experience. The other dishes, however, that didn't contain this sauce were simply delicious. A real discovery. Perhaps we were just unlucky with the menu! But the whole point of a good restaurant like this is to let yourself be guided and discover.

This is exceptional… and that was just for lunch with a “simple” set menu!!! We can’t wait to discover the rest of these two chefs’ culinary world. Places we’d like to keep all to ourselves. 😜

We dined at La Maison des Cariatides with high expectations, given the restaurant's reputation. The dishes were good and well-prepared, but didn't particularly stand out. The ambiance felt rather bland, lacking any special charm. Our main disappointment was the wine pairing. Advertised as six glasses, we only received five. We had opted to share a pairing for two people as we had to drive, but the quantities served seemed very limited: approximately 5 cl per serving to share, or around 2.5 cl each. At this point, it was more like tasting wines than actual glasses accompanying the meal. In total, this amounted to about 25 cl of wine for €85, which we found difficult to justify. Overall, an acceptable experience, but the value for money didn't convince us, especially regarding the wines.

The meal was very good, however, I was disappointed by the sloppy service. We waited 20 minutes for the menu, had to ask several times for bread, and also for tap water. One dish was served without bread because they were out, supposedly because it was in the oven... In short, the meal was very good and I recommend it, but I would have appreciated more attentive service so I could have eaten a hot dish and mopped up the sauce with bread. At nearly 300 euros for two people, one expects not to have to beg for anything.

It had been a long time since we'd enjoyed such a wonderful culinary experience. A truly magnificent discovery. Subtle and judicious flavors in every bite, beautifully presented. The setting is rustic yet inviting, with a view of the worktop. The waitstaff was attentive, smiling, and very professional. Time flew by, and we had a truly delightful time.

We've been going there every year for the past nine years at the end of October. And a few times more. We had the pleasure of returning just before receiving their Michelin star, wishing the team continued success! And they did. So we'll be back with pleasure, as usual, at the end of October. Always new flavors, discoveries, innovative presentation, always a feast for the eyes and the palate. The tobacco dessert was surprising, disconcerting, but definitely worth a visit!

28/04/2026: The food was once again surprisingly creative and first-class. The service, however, was not. It seemed very distant, at times bordering on arrogance. They gave the impression of being too cool for the job. There was no assistance or recommendations with our order, nor was there even a quick check-in to see if we were comfortable or if the food was satisfactory. The icing on the cake: a birthday that had been communicated in writing beforehand was completely ignored. Even a "Happy Birthday" balloon prominently placed on the table was disregarded. This is where the problem lies in their customer service. Perhaps a little less posturing and a little more attention and genuine interest in the guest would be better. The apology voucher for two glasses of wine that we received by email the following day did nothing to compensate for this.

13/05/2026: Our second culinary experience at this establishment, and once again we are completely won over! The atmosphere is very pleasant, warm, and intimate; the staff are exceptionally kind and welcoming, a rare find these days; and the dishes are all more delicious and intriguing than the last! A huge thank you for this renewed and highly recommended experience! We wish the whole team continued success! 😊
