A wonderful couple, authentic and delicious cuisine, top-notch service… Everything is perfect: wood-fired meat, foie gras, dessert… the best restaurant in Epernay for me. We will be back… Thank you to the very experienced chef, a nod to his time in Monaco with Ducasse.

We visited for lunch and, unfortunately, left feeling a little disappointed. The restaurant seems to aim for a fine-dining experience, and while the portion sizes may fit that style, we felt the food didn’t quite live up to the prices. The veal was rather dry, and the beef, while okay, wasn’t particularly memorable. The service could also have been a bit warmer and more welcoming. We also noticed that the waiter’s nails didn’t appear particularly clean, which affected our overall impression of the hygiene and attention to detail. Overall, we were hoping for a more enjoyable experience, especially considering the price point.

We started our meal with a complimentary cauliflower soup, and it was surprisingly delicious—a lovely way to begin the meal.
I especially enjoyed the escargots, which were baked with breadcrumbs, giving them a nice texture. The fragrant garlic flavour made them even more enjoyable.
For my main course, I ordered the veal sirloin. The meat was succulent, tender, and cooked beautifully. Overall, it was a very enjoyable dining experience with well-prepared and flavourful dishes.
