Very good restaurant. We were a group of more than 30 people: very warm welcome. Boss and waiters very present and very attentive.👍👍👍 Highly recommended.

It was so busy. It was already two o'clock when we arrived and it was still full. We had to wait for a while to get a seat. Fortunately, the crowd slowly dispersed. The quality is pretty good, mainly because it's very close to Chambord, so you can visit the castle after you've eaten.

Despite our fears about a restaurant located near the castle, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal and the service. The burgers were excellent and the children's menus were very popular We recommend!

Good value for money to be able to have lunch on site. An efficient and friendly boss. The girl who took care of our table was also very nice. If the other girls could just learn to smile and look at the customers, the establishment would benefit, and it would be more pleasant for everyone. There we really have the impression of disturbing them and that they don't want to be there.

Restaurant very well located near the castle possibility of lunch on the terrace when the weather permits the menu is simple but very well mastered our 4 dishes were excellent the service is discreet but efficient there was a group (20 people) at the same time as us .thanks everyone

Bon restaurant près du château de Chambord. Les plats étaient bons et copieux avec des frites maisons. Le service est rapide.

Restaurant parfait tant au niveau de ce que l'on a dans l'assiette que de l'accueil. Les prix sont très raisonnables pour ce que l'on mange, c'est frais, local et goûteux. Le personnel est plus que sympathique avec beaucoup d'humour et de générosité dans le partage de l'histoire du restaurant. Je vous recommande ce restaurant sans hésiter.

09/07/2025: Awesome location with the best view on this magnificent castle. Cannot get enough of this view which become private after visit hours. Great service with valet and private parking. Enjoyable spa to relax after a day of visit. Great restaurant, delicious food with a good wine menu.

Restaurant du Grand Saint Michel

13/12/2024: The location at the gates of Chambord Castle, the most beautiful in the Loire, is definitely worth it. The hotel does not deserve the SLH category due to the lack of management and maintenance, both in rooms and common areas. The service seems very novice and presumptuous. Of course you need to pay a good manager to look at the maintenance details. The restaurant and food service, although it claims to be good, almost always loses in the details of food temperature or point. Classic cocktails and very good local wines. A location pays to visit the main wonders of the eastern Loire area.
08/12/2024: Just passing through to visit the castle. We were a group of 174 people, excellent welcome and delicious meals.
