La cave nature sur Villefranche-Sur-Mer

This spot was such a find with a cute odor patio and tasty tapas and great wine! Staff was kind and friendly - very welcoming. I had the best time and meal and the owner came over was friendly & made excellent wine pairing recommendations too. As someone who loves wine, they did a great job!! I can’t say anything but positive things about this lovely cafe - it made my trip in so many ways!! Ambiance is amazzzing too!! Don’t forget the dessert too!

Cute bistro tapas restaurant, just off the main promenade within the quaint backstreets. Friendly staff and a delicious menu, makes this place worth a visit.

I am frustrated writing this review. As you can see from my hundreds of reviews on TripAdvisor, I’m always honest and as fair as I can be. I never just bash a location for the sake of being mean. We stopped at this location to cool off on a hot Sunday afternoon with a couple drinks and were shocked when we received the bill. We had four, watery, Aperol spritz drinks, a Coke, water, and two tapas that were nine euros each. When we received the bill it was €84! I added a few dollars for a tip even though it’s not customary in Spain or France, but the service was very good. This is US$100 for a 25 minute stop to cool down! The service is excellent and the location is very small but charming, but it is certainly no Ritz Carlton five star hotel. We were charged €15 per drink even though an entire liter of Aperol is just €11. I’m convinced that this restaurant charges the highest prices in all of France and are comparable to New York City or San Francisco prices. I’m believe they were taking advantage of us because they thought we were just tourists passing by. Maybe they did win this round, but of course we would never visit again and we do visit this area often….so they do lose in the long run. I’m also concerned about their profile and reviews on Tripadvisor. All of their pictures are exactly the same, professionally taken, and only show food with no pictures of guests, families, the area, or the interior of the restaurant. In my vast experience with TripAdvisor, I know this to be impossible if they are random guest reviews. There is something fishy about this. We do not recommend.

This is a great find. Fresh healthy options, from a decent menu and very good value. Don't confuse it with the adjacent similar looking place! Friendly staff and good service.

Very very good... I recommend 1000%... superb place and very very good staff... the food very very good... a good moment of relaxation

En mysig restaurang med mycket trevlig personal. Här serveras mindre rätter att dela på. De är väldigt goda, men det blir ganska dyrt totalt sett. Vi tyckte särskilt mycket om fläsket med honung och stracciatellan med tryffel. Gott bröd och gott vin!
