La Cave sur le Comptoir sur Val-D'Isere

Warm welcome, excellent value for money for a restaurant in the center of Val d’Isère! The waiters listen to our requests and give us the best advice regarding the beautiful wine list they offer. We had an assortment of tapas with the large mixed board and the tataki and we tried the two desserts: a treat! The cuisine is refined but gourmet. Outstanding! Atmosphere, staff and food were all spectacular. I cannot explain just how good this little place is. We've eaten in a lot of ski resorts, but we've never had octopus cooked like that. Honestly the best meal we've ever had in a ski resort... And given the years we've been doing this, that's a very big compliment. The whole feel of the place was exceptional.
