La Cave sur le Comptoir sur Val-D'Isere

After the first visit ,I came here 2 more times. The wine list is impressive, but being alone I stuck to wines by the glass. The service from Camille was commensurate with the wine list – exceptional. I was greeted each time in a friendly and professional manner. Everyone spoke beautiful English, but I’m sure that my experience would’ve been even better (if that’s possible ) if I spoke French. The charcuterie board was artfully laid out, and the burrata salad and roasted vegetables excellent. I wish I was here longer to experience more of the menu . Highly recommend.

A delightful time shared with friends who are regulars. We enjoyed a tasting of a very good St. Joseph Gripa, recommended by the owner. The shared meal was fabulously delicious. We'll be back to treat ourselves again.

Love this place! Relaxed setting, plenty of seats and HUGE wine list. Really friendly staff too so don’t be intimidated if you are not sure what wine to order 😀
