Slightly isolated at the far end of the resort, this restaurant is nonetheless well worth a visit. The setting, including the terrace when the weather permits, the view through the large bay windows, the varied menu, and the quality cuisine are all worthwhile, including a daily special that offers excellent value for money considering the resort's usual prices. Reservations are recommended when the weather is fine.

What an amazing food on the piste. We had four different dishes and all of them of good quality. Service is fast and friendly. Several different places you can sit and each of them with a nice vibe! Prices where more than okay especially in relation to what we have experienced elsewhere on the slopes!

We stopped there just for a coffee; the atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, calm, and the beautiful scenery is what characterizes this place. The sunny terrace in the middle of the forest delighted us; we were comfortably seated and the atmosphere was fantastic.

We had another fantastic meal this week. The beef cheeks were melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the steak Rossini was perfect. And speaking of tenderness, it was divine! 😄 And Eléa was a ray of sunshine! Welcoming, attentive, and helpful, she's simply wonderful!

Nice place with a beautiful view and decent service, however the food was disappointing. Vegetables swimming in oil and the ribeye steak was very small compared to other nearby establishments… overpriced for the quality.

As a rule of thumb, if you want to find somewhere worth eating at in a ski resort, it's best to look for the most remote restaurant half way down a red or black run (or nordic ski route). Edelweiss fits this bill perfectly, with a superb menu, featuring daily specials, good service, and surprisingly good cooking given it's on the mountain. The gnocci tasted light and possibly homemade, featuring a heathy amount of morels. The lobster pasta in a creamy bisque was off the charts. Myrtlles clafoutis was made with real myrtleberries - rather than with blueberries substituted. The restaurant sits in a sunny spot, amoung the trees at the quiet end of the resort and the vibe (at the end of the day) is relaxed. It's mercifully a short ski down to the lift or bus back to Val. So perfect, we decided to ski over from the back of Tignes to go back the next day.
