A very popular place to eat good meat near monaco ! Cost atmosphere specially in the winter with the fireplace and they serve good starters with truffle specialties . We tasted the melted cheese Camembert which was really good and then we took the grilled meat which was also good and yummy and cooked to our taste ! Have been trying to eat in this place for a year now but it was always full when I was in the area and finally I was able to get it tonight ! I think it was worth the wait . The only draw back is the price which is similar to the prices is the restaurants in monaco which was quite expensive in my opinion ! Apart from that the experience was enjoyable ! I

It's clear we go there to eat meat, and good meat at that, I can confirm. But the experience was a bit mixed, let me explain:
The dining room is friendly but very noisy; you definitely have to raise your voice to talk to your fellow diners.
The starters and desserts are as classic as they come, but very good (especially the homemade crème fraîche served by the ladleful, if you please 😀) and reasonably priced. At the same time, we come for the meat, as these two dishes are mainly used to start and finish the meal.
The concept of the potato cooked in the embers as a side dish needs a complete overhaul. You expect a nice jacket potato with maître d'hôtel butter to drizzle on top, but instead you get a plate of small potatoes simply tossed in the embers and not particularly flavorful. It's frankly "cheap" considering the quality of the meat (and its price, which is otherwise entirely justified). The wine prices are exorbitant (€380 for a Côtes de Bourg is outrageous!), but the wines by the glass are decent, although the selection is limited. Don't expect any sauces with the meat; forget Béarnaise and other shallot sauces. Here, it's all about the meat itself, and it's excellent: flavor is paramount! The cooking is impeccable. Expect to pay around €100 per person, including an aperitif, dessert, a glass of wine, and two cuts of meat (see photo) to share between three people. In short: for true barbecue aficionados 😉.

A rather mixed review after having dined there on a weekday evening. I chose the €45 menu, like everyone else at the table. While the starters were very good, what a disappointment when the T-Bone arrived to share between two. Three meager pieces of meat, fillet side, when the portions are usually generous. When questioned about the quantity, we were given an extra rib-eye steak because we are big eaters. The sides were also non-existent, with 3 tiny baked potatoes for 5 people, and the salad never arrived on our table. We were still treated to a few baby potatoes well after we had finished our meat. In short, with two bottles of wine and a final bill of €95 per person, no pun intended, I am left wanting more and a little disappointed with my experience, even though the meat was excellent. Not sure I'll be back.

While passing through Èze, we were looking for a restaurant near our hotel.
What a surprise to discover this restaurant, which certainly deserves a Michelin star for its cuisine.
Generous, authentic, and beautifully cooked over a wood fire.
