la trinquette sur Villefranche-Sur-Mer

A wonderful jazz evening at La Trinquette with the David Amar trio, who sing original jazz in French, accompanied by a pianist and drummer, both of exceptional talent. A warm welcome, a delicious buffet – in short, a great discovery and an experience to be repeated.

La Trinquette is definitely my favorite spot in Villefranche, or at least one of the last places to remain true to the town. Here, you can take the time to talk, eat, and daydream. Leaving the restaurant, the other establishments on the port are like Parisian cafés at rush hour. If only for the warm welcome (not to mention the generous portions), go for it!

Very nice, jazz club plus food and drinks

We listened to 2facto tonight, it was very fun, improvise and sincere. We were like listening to&singing with our friends. Everything we ate and drank was delicious. All the Trinquette personnel we met were very kind and warm people. I likened this place to Nardis Jazz Club in Istanbul, which has been successfully run by a musician couple for 25-30 years; its standards are truly high, just like theirs. My only criticism is that the photos here don't reflect the true ambiance of the place; it's much more than what's seen in the photos 😍 We had a wonderful evening, and the night already took its special place in our memories 🥰 Gülderen/Bora/Naz from İstanbul

A lovely local Jazz club, that brings in a great selection of artists. It’s a much loved local landmark and a real alternative venue for visitors to Villefranche sur mer, away from the clubs of Nice! Food and drinks available with people respectfully the night inside on the terrace and adjacent to the club.

This was our favorite dinner in France! Homemade food, good music and wine, and great staff. Super welcoming place, really made us feel like they were so happy we were there. Would recommend 100000x! Thank you!

We went there for the wedding of a couple of friends; it's an authentic place where human connection is paramount. We had a magical time with perfectly chosen music, just like the menu.
