La Chimere sur Lyon

Great evening in this restaurant. Great discovery. Local cuisine, regional products. Beautiful dishes, a nice wine, a cork atmosphere as we were looking for in Lyon. Served by a very friendly person. Thank you for this exotic interlude. We note the address for a next stop in the city of lights.

Everything was really perfect: - The cuisine: excellence in all the dishes consumed, we will thank the cooks Quentin and Gnafron -The atmosphere and mood of the place itself: Very typical of any Lyonnais cork you will tell me but there you go, there is no overrated or apparent lack. - Music: It may seem trivial but it is something essential in my eyes. Very typical 50s/60s max, very measured and appreciable sound level. - Qualitative and fast service: Each request is executed quickly and always with a smile. - Conventional price at all other restaurants in the area but no abuse especially for the quality of the experience.

Here, it’s real Lyonnaise cuisine! And not just because the map and the signs outside say so. Unlike certain “bouchons” who grab tourists by the shovelful for dishes in the end… as Lyonnais as if it was me who had made them (and believe me, I am a real quiche in regional cuisine!). Here, we don't joke with tradition, nor with quality. Everything is homemade, from start to finish. What about wines? At the height of the plate! All served by a charming lady who goes out of her way for her customers. And what's more, the restaurant (open for 7 years: I asked) welcomes you in a decor that I personally loved. That’s even a bit of what brought us in, in addition to the promise of authentic cuisine. Oh, and I almost forgot: impeccable value for money. Thank you Madam for your welcome, and a big congratulations to Mr. (could that be your son?) behind the stove for this great culinary discovery!

A great discovery of very good quality cuisine with good products. The service is as good as the cuisine. A bonus for the playlist.

Lyon cuisine by Lyonnais, so obviously quality and atmosphere were on the menu. Perfect, we'll come back.

Well what can I say, it's good though, too many mushrooms compared to 1 meurette egg. In addition, no accompaniment with the pike quenelle. I don't consider myself a big eater at all and I missed it. I was told that last year there was too much waste... meh as an answer... The setting is pleasant but we won't go back!

A great discovery and pleasant service despite the late hour. What a disappointment, and above all what horror to learn of its administrative closure for lack of hygiene! This is a betrayal for the customer!

Bon repas, nous avons bien mangé, le rapport qualité est très bon. Mention spéciale à l’andouillette qui était très bonne. Par contre le service.. C’était plutôt cocasse et atypique, mais dans l’ensemble une bonne ambiance !

Il y a 2 salles : une en sous sol voûtée préférable le soir peut être et une plus petite de plain pied avec une grande hauteur de plafond Tables pas très grandes Belle déco immuable depuis qq décennies : c'est l'esprit bouchon lyonnais Service très sympa et efficace Prix vraiment corrects pour Lyon et la qualité servie Carte très lyonnaise : on s'y rend pour la cuisine traditionnelle ! Je recommande +++
