While passing through Chartes on December 24 to enjoy the Christmas market, we had a good time at the chocolate factory where the atmosphere was warm and cocooning. A little plus for the chocobueno which was delicious and a big plus for Célia who served us with great kindness!

I was attracted by the small cakes in the window Went in and bought some takeout to take home. The little madeleine and chocolate cake are so cute Really great with coffee

Very cute tea room. I go there especially for the macaroons and the mango milkshake which are very good but the squeezed fruit juice is not worth it especially for the price, it was cut with water. Same for the hot chocolate which was much too bitter. The service is pleasant.

Un salon de thé très agréable, la qualité des produits est excellente, le personnel très très agréable et très réactif, sincèrement je vous recommande de vous arrêter dans ce salon de thé...(la chocolaterie). Enfin un établissement de qualité ,très rare sur chartres centre . Le petit plus la grande terrasse et une salle à l intérieur très sympa pour un moment de détente, juste pour info je suis client depuis 20 ans alors les commentaires de certaines personnes négatives sur cet établissement sont chimériques et déplacés.L'ensemble du personnel est très professionnel agréable et très patient face aux carences éducatives manifestes de certaines personnes qui ne connaissent pas le " bonjour ', " s'il vous plaît " , " merci '!

Un café muy lindo. Los capuchinos estaban bien hechos, todos servidos con un pequeño pastel. Había varios tipos de pasteles, y todos parecían deliciosos. Compramos un "financiero", un "tigré framboise" y "fundador au chocolat". Todos fueron aprobados 👍 El camarero era muy servicial y paciente. También habla inglés. Los precios están bien.

Le Parvis

04/11/2024: Nous avons couché une nuit au Parvis ; très gentiment accueillis par François et son fils. Petit hôtel merveilleusement situé à une minute de la cathédrale. Chambre impeccable avec petit salon impeccables. Une super adresse. petit déjeuner très copieux. Patron pince sans rire et bienveillant. Bref, nous y retournerons !
25/09/2024: I stayed in this lovely, small hotel for one night in September 2024. The staff were friendly and I enjoyed the breakfast. Guests can see the cathedral from the front steps. I would stay here again.

Ellan Vannin Pub Irlandais

17/09/2024: I was desperately looking for a pub in Chartres, but a REAL one! I was looking for a decor, an atmosphere and of course: the menu that goes with it. Finally I found it after many fruitless and disappointing searches. The Ellan-Vannin is EXACTLY what I was looking for. The atmosphere and decor reminds me of certain old school London pubs where I had my habits, woodwork and posters glorifying what the occupants like. What can I say about the menu... First time I've seen draft Guinness in Chartres, I'm in heaven, and a myriad of Whiskeys, I've arrived in paradise! The boss welcomed me like a genuine man, you can believe that he is not smiling but his heart shows through as the conversation progresses. Should I say an “ancient host”? (Be careful, in my words this is one of the greatest compliments). I love everything about this pub, without having tasted their food yet (but I couldn't resist posting my opinion already) I saw the nibbles they served, it's made with love and that to looks delicious! I FINALLY found it and I can't wait to go back! A new regular.
12/08/2024: One of our favorite bars! The atmosphere is cool, the choice of drinks is vast and the team is top notch! Not to mention the most significant: the chef's cuisine.
