La Closerie sur Dijon

Pour la troisième fois nous revenons à La Closerie. Il y a deux ans, tout était parfait et la cuisine délicieuse. Malheureusement, cette fois-ci, très déçus. Entrée passable, mais le plat... j'ai commandé le "parmentier comme un jambon persillé". Ce plat ne ressemblait en rien à celui que j'avais commandé la fois précédente. Aucune saveur et la mousseline de panais était très amère

Très beau cadre et jolie présentation, mais les plats manquent de saveur et d'accompagnements! Viande à une température trop basse. Les explications des plats n'étaient vraiment pas à la hauteur. Plusieurs vins sur la carte pas disponibles. Dommage

We looked forward to an excellent meal, but it was average. Complimentary gougeres arrived promptly as appetisers, which were tasty. We had the choice of two dishes for starters. We chose to share the pesto stuffed fresh tomato with a brillat savarin based sauce. This was fresh and tasty and beautifully presented. Choice of two mains, I chose the sea bream in a crunchy coating with pureed carrot & crunchy carrot strips. Potato frites were also served, but they could have been crisper. We shared the nectarine dessert, which was pleasant. The presentation of each dish was good, but a lot of the meal did not have the extra flavour that my lunch companion and I expected. The restaurant was well patronised, the staff were efficient & helpful but we'd come with high hopes from reading reviews but we left a little disappointed.

This is another address that I will not soon forget, from the welcome to the patio which houses a pretty terrace, from the creative, tasty dishes, with original flavors to the dessert, for us a basil mousse, tomato en trompe l' eye on a parmesan shortbread, everything was perfect, an extra note for the wines by the glass, in short nothing to complain about either in terms of the services or the price. An address to absolutely try if you pass by here...

We have wanted to experience this restaurant for a long time. But unfortunately we won't come back to that. The welcome from the manager is very average, or even non-existent. The starters were good but for the dishes (we had fish) no flavor, tasteless! This is the first time I have asked for salt and pepper for a dish with fish. The 3 people I was with had the same comment as did the table next to us. I didn't even try the dessert because we were so disappointed! On the other hand, we were served by a very pleasant and attentive young waiter. He deserves to work in a better atmosphere. Sorry for this comment but Dijon is full of good restaurants. Make a little effort.

Very nice place. Shaded terrace, exceptionally friendly staff. Burgundian dishes revisited and cooked with modernity. For dessert, the black currant charlotte is killer. I highly recommend.

Top-notch service and catering. Very friendly waiter. I recommend it
