A traditional French restaurant. We had a pleasant evening: the service wasn't quite sparkling and the food was good but not great hence 4* not 5

Very pleasant restaurant, very good food, very well prepared with very fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The waitress is very pleasant and attentive to the customer and does not hesitate to provide information about the products. A very well-composed wine list with descriptions of the wine-growing regions. I highly recommend this establishment. Jclaude

A fantastic evening find for dinner whilst visiting Saumur, located a short walk away across to the other side of the river Loire from the Mercure riverside hotel it's the epitome of a classic family run French restaurant. A very friendly host, relaxed atmosphere whilst seated in the parlour at the back of the restaurant, great food and wine selections, all delicious! We will definitely be going back for more when back in the area.

Found this by chance after we were let down by the restaurant we booked let us down. Very friendly host and nice atmosphere. Excellent menu offering good choices using regional products plus a decent wine list. We were very happy with our meal and would certainly eat there again
