La Comédie sur Vendome

On a business trip to Vendôme, I met up with my colleagues at La Comédie and made a wonderful discovery. A brasserie just the way we like them. The welcome, the attentive staff, the smiles—it's all quite rare these days, so I thought I'd share it. When are you opening a similar one in Tours?

Always a pleasure to come to La Com', the service is top-notch. Fast and good. I highly recommend it.

Welcoming. We had drinks, so I can't comment on the food.

I was very surprised, and not in a good way, by a strawberry mojito. The glass was filled with crushed ice and still water, lots of whole mint leaves, chopped strawberries, three-quarters of a strawberry, and two small pieces of lemon. Not great. The service was perfectly fine. Another thing to mention: no disabled access to the restrooms and no hand towels. In short, as a regular at this legendary Vendôme bar, I'm a little disappointed.

Very fast lunch service. Excellent welcome, top-notch service. Daily specials were excellent. Only slight drawback: the dining room was a bit noisy.

A bar that reminds us of our youth (we're over fifty 😉), a lovely place, with very friendly waiters.
