Never disappointed! A must-visit every time we go. The servers are always cheerful and helpful. The food is good and reasonably priced (€19 for a main course and a drink), and the atmosphere is very pleasant!

I ordered a well-done steak, but it arrived almost raw inside, which was really disappointing. The fries were far too salty for my taste, and the burger seemed rather mediocre. The price is reasonable; you can eat for around €20, but I wasn't convinced by the value for money.

12/09/2026: The food was a bit disappointing: the Beetroot, Feta, and Walnut Salad was probably made with cooked supermarket beets; when you eat in a restaurant, you expect locally sourced, home-cooked beets, which was a shame. The Chicken Gaston Gérard was very dry and, to everyone's dismay, lacked Comté cheese. The only vegetarian option was a pasta dish with mushrooms, not bad, but again, you expect better when you eat in a restaurant, especially at that price. Otherwise, the terrace and the service were pleasant.

01/05/2026: I just picked the date randomly because, frankly, I've known and frequented this bar for so long, formerly Pont Neuf, because of its lovely terrace... one of the few in Besançon. When I was still working, I often had my coffee there early in the morning before work. The owners, Dominic and Claire, work very hard and have done so for years, so a little kindness and respect for them would be appreciated. I go back as soon as my health allows, due to some health issues. The service is always top-notch, and the establishment has always been impeccably clean. And a new addition to help them out, Karine, a ray of sunshine and positivity. I'd like to take this opportunity to wish them a well-deserved holiday at the end of this week. I'll be there whenever I can. Thanks to Dominique and Claire, supported by Karine.
06/02/2026: Quick and friendly service, pleasant atmosphere. Good value for money.
