My partner and I were abit stressed about where to eat and these guys were patient and kind because we only speak English, food was good and the place was very clean. Thankyou.

While passing through Beaune, we stopped at this brasserie.
What a shame!
Excessive prices for very poor quality and insufficient quantities.
The service also leaves something to be desired.
They offer charcuterie and cheese platters with industrially produced, not very good bread.
Avoid!

Tourism, end of season, a tired middle-aged man? He was in a hurry, not a friendly word. We ordered six drinks for three people, and he brought them and mentioned that he had a lot of glasses. The cheese platter we ordered was subpar, though there was a lot of bread. The rating turned out to be 2.9, so we went elsewhere. His lack of interest is a shame; try to appear more motivated!

We arrived at a time when all the restaurants in the square were crowded. We chose it somewhat by chance and because there was a small table for two. The food is decent, it's not haute cuisine, but I appreciated several things:
The waiter warned us that he was a bit overwhelmed and that there would be a wait (in the end, we hardly waited).
It was very hot, but there was a mist sprayer on the terrace.
The waiters, despite the crowd, were very kind and friendly.
There was a delicious vegetarian option: a vegetarian burger, served with fries and pieces of melon and watermelon.
In short, it may not be a great restaurant, but we had a great time there and for a reasonable price.

Beautiful spot, excellent food. But a little friendliness wouldn't hurt the service. A "bon apetit" wouldn't even do.
