⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful meal; everything was delicious and of very high quality. A huge thank you also to our waitress, who was absolutely lovely, very professional, and attentive to our needs. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back! I highly recommend this restaurant. 🇪🇸

A very nice place in a small square in Strasbourg. Short wait for a table, very friendly staff. Fair prices. We ordered two cheeseburgers with garlic baked potatoes and salad, a tartare also served with garlic potatoes and salad, and I ordered a very delicious dentelle dish, two slices of slow-cooked bacon with barbecue sauce on the side, and grilled sauerkraut. Everything was very good, then we ordered a water and a Coke for a whopping €78. I'd say excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

La Corde à Linge is a really nice restaurant, beautifully situated on the water in the heart of Strasbourg. The location is absolutely top-notch. You sit right in the atmosphere of the city, with a view that is more than worth the effort. It is therefore not surprising that it is very busy with tourists; guides with groups are constantly walking past, indicating how popular this place is with visitors to Strasbourg. The service was a bit on the slow side at times, which is understandable given the crowds, but the staff always remained friendly and helpful. That made the wait much more pleasant. As for the food: it was really tasty, with a nice balance between flavor and quality, and all for a good price. Certainly given the tourist location, we had expected a higher bill, but the price-quality ratio actually stood out positively. A minor downside for families with a baby: unfortunately, there was no high chair available. This made dining with a little one just a bit less comfortable than hoped. For parents with young children, this is certainly something to keep in mind before you go. All in all, highly recommended for anyone in Strasbourg who appreciates an atmospheric location by the water, with good food at a reasonable price. The crowds and the lack of a high chair are the reasons I am sticking to four stars instead of five, but the overall experience was certainly positive.
