I recommend this place. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, good food and a plus because there are also options for those who don't eat meat.

One of the best meals we had! Very nice staff, served us politely! We took 3 dishes and a salad for 4 people (2 adults and 2 children) and without asking, they brought us plates to share! The shank was huge and amazing, it melted! Also the pork ribs were very tasty and soft. The salad was nice and big. The children's plate was quite tasty. Very good spot next to the cathedral. Very reasonable prices for Strasbourg.

28/06/2026: Lovely little spot under a big tree overlooking the river. Kept us cool in the heat wave! Delicious local food, friendly staff and lovely ambience.
28/06/2026: Thank you Fred and Gianni for your service! They were very attentive and ensured the meal ran smoothly, and I enjoyed discovering Au Petit Bois Vert. The food is good, and two vegetarian dishes are available; it would be nice to add more plant-based options. The atmosphere is pleasant and peaceful by the water, with soft decorative lighting. However, the sloping, paved floor is a bit hard on the back 😅
