La Cornemuse sur Besancon

A mixed experience that doesn't make me want to return to La Cornemuse. I waited a very long time to order and then to be served; then I paid a lot for very little (one small ice cream sundae that didn't match the menu description: I would have been better off ordering three scoops). The restaurants and other places to eat and drink on Rue Bersot are really overrated. I've tried most of them. The reason I often come to this street is because of the physiotherapy clinic in the middle. The young, inexperienced but well-intentioned waitresses still have a lot to learn; I wish them good luck!

The service quality has declined. We waited far too long. I had to go and ask for the menu myself. I'm disappointed because I used to like this crêperie, but it's gone downhill. Also, the toilets at the back of the courtyard that you have to kick open are unacceptable... I'm giving it 3 stars to be generous.

If you arrive by bike in the afternoon and don't want to wait until the restaurants open in the evening, this crêperie is perfect. It's open all day, and the set menu with galette, side salad, and crêpe is unbeatable at under €13. The staff is very friendly and even cleared a space for my bike.

I had a lovely time at the crêperie. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the crêpes are delicious and generous, made with fresh ingredients. Convenient thanks to the continuous service, but a frankly disappointing experience: chaotic organization, endless waiting, overwhelmed staff and rather mediocre crepes.

Atmospheric restaurant with friendly service from staff who didn't speak a word of English. The pastas, however, were meh.

We ate on the terrace with blankets available, which was nice, and we found the waiters very friendly. Great selection of galettes.
