A wonderful discovery!
We had a fantastic meal in a very typical Saint-Émilion setting. The quality/quantity/price ratio was excellent. The waiters and waitresses were lovely, and the chefs were superb! I recommend the €19.50 menu; you won't be disappointed. And if you'd like something a bit more gourmet, no problem, they have that too. In short, excellent cuisine for all budgets. Highly recommended!

Discovered this restaurant while strolling through the streets of Saint-Émilion, what a delightful surprise! The menu was more than affordable, the dishes were generously portioned and delicious… with professional and very friendly service. Definitely worth a visit!

Unbeatable value for money (starter, main course, dessert 19.50), the dish of the day (coq au vin) was delicious and the staff were very professional and friendly! Don't hesitate to go.

A good restaurant with a set menu (starter/main/dessert) for €19.50. Good value for money. Located in the heart of Saint-Émulsion, the dining room is in a cellar. We had a good time, it's a shame the service wasn't up to par – stressed and rushed. This detracted from the overall positive experience.

Visiting Saint-Emilion in winter new year time is considered low season. A lot of stores and restaurants are basically closed, leaving you not a lot of choices for food. We managed to find a few that are still open.
This is a very unique restaurant, the whole restaurant is in a cave like environment.
The service was very good.
We ordered a set menu and a dish. The soup tasted quite unique and delicious. The duck confit was good, but it can be better. The ribeye steak somehow was too chewy. The meat has uneven thickness, as a result, some part was cooked just right, but some part was overcooked. Overall, the meat cut choice can be improved a bit. We also had panna cotta as dessert, and it tasted quite good.
Overall, although the restaurant settings and service were good, I feel their ingredient choice for main dishes need some improvement. Until these are improved, I would look for other restaurants within the area.

The restaurant is much bigger than it seems! Grab one of the three tables on the terrace if you can to watch the people walk up and down the hill. Had the lunch special. They were able to accommodate a gluten free starter for me. Highlight for me was the fruit panne cotta!

A charming place with a very welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. Reasonable prices and excellent quality; they also speak Spanish, which made things very convenient.
Order the prawns, the entrecote, and the foie gras.
