We first visited just after the second covid confinement, after a change of management. We were very happy we did.
The menu in winter is pretty standard, but to my view the quality is better than in many places. In summer however the barbeque is excellent, the spare ribs a particular treat.
The staff are really friendly.
This should be your first and last stop on Chamonix. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant and the atmosphere was just rustic and charming. We were very lucky to get a table and so happy we did. Even though it was packed, there was no delay and the owners stopped and chatted with us making the experience all the better. Only a small distance out of town but simply worth it! Thank you Sarah Barry for the recommendation!!
