My second visit in a week. Excellent pancakes and above all served hot, a very rare thing. Something I really appreciate. Two women providing the restaurant. The crepes are really excellent. The cook comes to serve pancakes to customers if the waitress is busy. The creperie is really busy. (A second waitress, for 2 hours of service would be very pleasant for the current waitress)

A non-touristy address where you can eat real crepes. They are very sympathetic people. We had 4 types of crepes with apple cider. It was all very delicious.

We came for breakfast without having a reservation. A small corner table was still available. The tables are placed very close to each other. Large menu. Minimalist tea menu. Flambéed crepe looked good, subjectively the taste didn't meet our expectations. The staff spoke German 👍🏻

Despite a warm atmosphere, the pancakes were not there. I had a salmon-spinach pancake; the spinach was undercooked and the salmon was cold which cooled the pancake in general. Damage...

29/12/2023: A very pleasant welcome, a very intimate place, friendly service. It's a shame that the dishes, despite the small menu guaranteeing quality, were not up to par. Nothing too complicated for boiled potatoes, a tarte flambée with mushrooms (button mushrooms 🤦). But I repeat, the service was very friendly.

Au Wacken

19/03/2024: We ate very good tarte flambées at the Au Wacken restaurant in Schiltigheim. The room is pretty and the staff welcoming and pleasant.
19/03/2024: I enjoyed the entrecôte and the Kouglof.
