La Criee sur Paris

The setting is pleasant, but the restaurant was practically empty on a Monday evening at 8 pm. The waitress and waiter were very friendly. As for the meal: the fish soup was average, more like lobster bisque; the seafood platter was generous but lacked flavor; the rum baba was very good, with the waitress asking how much rum you wanted on top. The sea bream was tasteless and not very hot. It was okay, but the taste and quality need improvement.

Ousmane provided a very warm welcome and excellent service; he was also incredibly friendly and welcoming. Thank you again, and see you soon!

I'm a regular at this restaurant, but it's a shame the staff changes between visits. The service is deteriorating; it's too slow and overwhelmed, even though it's quiet. The chef's new offerings aren't appetizing. Apparently, they've changed chefs too, apart from the staff. We ordered sole meunière, but we received grilled sole with a bowl of butter. The chef apparently doesn't know that sole meunière is cooked in its own butter, not served with it. I wonder what the difference is between grilled and meunière in his kitchen. It's a shame; let's hope we'll be pleasantly surprised next time.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm a regular at La Criée restaurant in the 19th arrondissement, and it's always a real treat! 🦐 The seafood platters are excellent, fresh, and high-quality, with truly exceptional value for money. For me, they're clearly the best prices in Paris for seafood platters: you can enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank! The staff is lovely, and the servers are very kind and friendly. Every time we visit, we're greeted with a big smile, which is a real pleasure. 😊 The setting is also magnificent: a superb terrace on the banks of the Seine, bathed in sunshine, perfect for enjoying a pleasant and convivial moment. A big thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome and kindness. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to come back! 🦀☀️

We visited the restaurant for the second time yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed the appetizers, such as oysters and shrimp, and the main courses, such as tuna steak or salad with salmon and burrata, all of very high quality. The desserts, such as profiteroles or brioche, are also highly recommended. The friendly and attentive service and the beautiful view of the canal made our evenings truly special.
