We had a wonderful time at this 19th-century restaurant.
The setting: The restaurant boasts an ideal location, and the view is superb!
The food: The mussels were simply exquisite, fresh, and perfectly cooked. A real treat!
The service: The welcome was impeccable. A very special thank you to Frédéric, who was absolutely fantastic: incredibly kind and very helpful. It's a pleasure to find such attentive staff and such a lovely setting. I highly recommend it!

We've been regulars at this restaurant for several years now. The prime location on the edge of the Bassin de la Villette, the spacious terrace overlooking the small pleasure boats, the sounds of the rigging, the lapping of the waves as the boats pass, and the cries of the seagulls, give every lunch break at La Criée the feeling of an extended holiday, all in such an exceptional setting!
We often opt for the famous pots of mussels, with unlimited fries, either with cream or Roquefort cheese, but the menu offers many more options just waiting to be discovered. The desserts are also perfect. The servers are friendly and attentive. If needed, don't hesitate to ask for extra fries; they'll eventually arrive...

We had an excellent evening at this very pleasant restaurant. The mussels from the fish market were superb, the menu was lovely, the dishes were well-presented, and the atmosphere was calm and refreshing. A very enjoyable experience. Special mention goes to Selim, our very young waiter, who was extremely efficient and kind, attentive to every detail – such a rare quality these days, thank you! Not a single complaint about our evening; we will definitely be back.
